Salary: £49,000 - 89,000 per year
Requirements
- We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in a fast-paced IT support environment, ideally within a professional services company.
- We need strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with users, colleagues, management, and third-party providers in person and over the phone.
- We require someone who can deal with queries efficiently, prioritise and log issues, and act accordingly.
- We are seeking experience in server builds, including application software.
- We need experience in workstation and laptop builds, including Windows 11 and device imaging.
- We require experience creating and maintaining users in environments such as Windows AD domain 2016 and above, Entra, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Office 365.
- We are looking for experience supporting users with PC driver, hardware, software, printer, and telephony issues.
- We require experience supporting mobile telephony and devices, including Apple iOS-based devices or similar.
- We value project experience such as new software roll-outs, new hardware roll-outs, and documentation of key work.
- We would consider experience or exposure to IPMS systems, document management systems, CRM systems, digital dictation, SaaS, and other cloud-based systems as advantageous.
- Microsoft certifications would be beneficial.
- COMPTIA certifications would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- We will have you provide first- and second-line IT support to users across our firm, including three remote sites.
- We will expect you to travel regularly to our other UK offices, sometimes at short notice.
- You will support users across all our offices while helping to maintain and improve our IT infrastructure.
- You will participate in IT projects, including server installations, database management, and IT security initiatives.
- You will install and configure computer hardware and software.
- You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues for users.
- You will liaise with third-party support providers to resolve technical problems.
- You will collaborate with and support other members of our IT team.
- You will perform and monitor backup checks to help ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- You will maintain documentation and support technical work across servers, networking, databases, and end-user systems.
