API Integration Developer - Remote

Salary: £146,000 - 146,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience building REST API integrations (typically 5 years)
• Hands-on experience with Workato, PowerApps, or similar integration/low-code platforms
• Good understanding of HTTP protocols and system-to-system communication
• Experience working with SFTP or file-based integration workflows
• Solid understanding of data structures and database principles
• Exposure to Azure Databricks or Data Lake environments would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Building and supporting REST API integrations between systems
• Migrating existing integrations onto a modern low-code platform (e.g. Workato or similar)
• Working across both real-time (API) and file-based (SFTP/MFT) integration workflows
• Collaborating with engineering and data teams to ensure integrations are robust and well-aligned
• Troubleshooting and improving existing integrations to ensure reliability and performance
