Senior Front End Engineer - Remote

Salary: £108,800 - 108,800 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in modern Angular frameworks, component architecture, and state management
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, API development, and backend services with Node.js
• Practical experience implementing Infrastructure as Code for cloud provisioning and environment automation using Terraform
• Experience designing and managing scalable cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
• Strong Git workflows and branching strategies
• Comfortable working with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong experience delivering production-grade web applications and backend services
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across teams
• Confidence in contributing to technical decision-making and solution design
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Structured approach to problem solving, system reliability, and operational resilience
• Active UK Security Clearance (SC), valid and transferable

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build and maintain modern Angular applications with well-structured component architecture and state management
• Support the integration of large application components within wider web ecosystems
• Contribute to technical design discussions and translate requirements into practical, maintainable solutions
• Work with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Support reliable deployment through CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Participate in Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders across distributed teams
• Contribute to incident response, change management, and system reliability improvements
• Support knowledge sharing and good engineering practice across the team
