Requirements
- We are looking for experienced DevOps Engineers with a strong background in deploying and operating highly available, event-driven microservices platforms.
- We require hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- We need experience with Docker containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker Swarm.
- We require CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- We need strong Linux administration skills, including shell scripting and command-line tooling.
- We require experience working in AWS environments and cloud infrastructure.
- We need monitoring and observability experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or InfluxDB.
- We require experience with SQL and relational databases.
- We need experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, scaling, and disaster recovery.
- We require knowledge of network security principles and protocols.
- We would value experience in managed service environments.
- We would value experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
- We would value experience with RabbitMQ or other AMQP/event-driven messaging platforms.
- We would value familiarity with cross-domain technologies and principles.
- We would value software development experience in Java, Go, Python, or similar languages.
- We require successful completion of security screening and clearance requirements due to the nature of the work and client environments.
Responsibilities
- We collaborate with development teams to promote releases into production efficiently and safely.
- We maintain highly available services using real-time monitoring and system metrics.
- We build and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities.
- We investigate alerts and incidents and implement preventative and remedial actions.
- We work with customer stakeholders to coordinate releases and evolving service requirements.
- We drive automation to reduce manual operational overhead.
- We support continuous improvement across infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes.
- We deploy, maintain, and improve a highly available event-driven microservices platform built around Docker container services and AMQP messaging.
- We help ensure systems continue to meet demanding SLA and SLO targets.
- We work closely with feature delivery teams to support reliable production releases.
