Penetration Tester

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• Active SC clearance is essential.
• Current CHECK Team Member status is essential.
• Proven experience delivering penetration testing engagements.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, web application, and cloud security testing.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security best practices.
• Candidates must be willing to undergo DV clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CHECK penetration testing engagements across client environments.
• Conduct infrastructure, web application, cloud, and Active Directory security assessments.
• Identify vulnerabilities and provide practical remediation advice.
• Produce clear, high-quality technical reports for clients.
• Support and collaborate with a wider team of cyber security consultants on varied projects.
• Maintain testing activities in line with NCSC CHECK and CREST methodologies.

This is a remote/hybrid role with WFH and client visits, offering a package of £50-55k plus expenses, an overnight bonus, and up to 31 days annual leave.
