Remote 3rd Line IT Support Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Engineer.
• We want someone who is motivated, customer centric, and a strong communicator at all levels.
• We require relevant server or cloud-based qualifications.
• MCSP or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with CCNA, networking, VMware, VCP, or cloud fundamentals such as Azure, AWS, or Google is a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• We act as a 3rd line escalation point for Service Desk incident tickets.
• We investigate and resolve allocated incident tickets and event notifications in line with agreed client incident categorisations and service level agreements.
• We work on customer projects, including O365 migrations, domain rationalisation, and cloud migration exercises.
• We create cloud and server solution designs based on client requirements.
• We design and migrate Active Directory environments.
• We create implementation and test plans for project delivery.
• We implement network solutions and provide post-implementation support.
• We hand over project delivery to the Service Desk and provide training to Service Desk Analysts where required.
• We own tickets assigned for investigation, resolution, customer communications, and SLA escalation.
• We provide input to high-level, low-level, and technical solution designs.
• We create and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles.
• We provide senior technical input in internal and customer meetings.
