Remote Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• We want an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who is motivated, customer centric, and a strong communicator at all levels.
• You should be qualified in server or a cloud-based qualification.
• MCSP or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in CCNA or Network, VMware, VCP, or cloud fundamentals such as Azure, AWS, or Google is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• We deliver customer projects, ranging from O365 migrations to domain rationalisation and cloud migration exercises.
• We create cloud and server solutions and designs across physical, virtual, and cloud environments based on client requirements.
• We design and migrate Active Directory environments.
• We create implementation and test plans for delivery.
• We implement network solutions and provide post-implementation support.
• We hand over project delivery to the Service Desk and, where required, train Service Desk Analysts.
• We act as a 3rd Line escalation point for Service Desk incident tickets.
• We investigate and resolve allocated incident tickets and event notifications in line with client categorisations and SLAs.
• We provide input to solution designs at high level, low level, and technical level.
• We create test plans to ensure implementation quality.
• We create deployment plans to meet customer requirements and manage risk.
• We implement approved solutions to the agreed quality standard and within specified timelines.
• We create and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles.
• We provide senior technical input in internal and customer meetings.
