Requirements

• We require strong experience migrating from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online.
• We require experience working within enterprise-scale migration programmes.
• We require the ability to work independently in a delivery-focused environment.
• We require strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
• We require experience operating within secure or highly regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with ShareGate migration tooling is desirable.
• Previous experience within public sector or policing environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration is desirable.
• Understanding of SharePoint governance and permissions structures is desirable.
• Experience supporting operational and BAU support functions during migrations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• We will administer and support the migration of SharePoint 2013 environments to SharePoint Online.
• We will perform end-to-end migration activities using ShareGate.
• We will conduct site analysis, validation, remediation, and post-migration checks.
• We will troubleshoot migration-related issues and provide resolution support.
• We will work closely with BAU and operational support teams to minimise business disruption.
• We will support the delivery of high-volume migration targets, including 20+ sites per week.
• We will ensure migrated content aligns with governance and compliance requirements.
• We will assist with user support and migration readiness activities.
• We will document migration processes, issues, and resolutions where required.
• We will contribute to continuous improvement of migration processes and tooling.

We are supporting a high-profile customer undergoing a major digital transformation programme and are urgently seeking two experienced SharePoint Administrators to join a critical SharePoint migration project. This is a remote role, outside IR35, with an immediate start, and it offers the opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced migration programme within a secure operational environment. We are looking for people who can work autonomously, hit the ground running, and help deliver a large-scale migration against an important programme deadline.
