Salary: £43,000 - 72,000 per year

Requirements

  • We require strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting SaaS platforms within AWS-hosted enterprise environments.
  • We require proven experience across DEV, TEST, QA, Pre-Prod, and Production environments.
  • We require experience supporting Agile delivery teams in fast-paced sprint and iteration-based delivery models.
  • We require skills in creating and maintaining custom fields, workflows, forms, business rules, and platform configurations.
  • We require strong deployment and release management experience, including configuration migration and environment promotion.
  • We require experience supporting CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines across multiple environments.
  • We require the ability to troubleshoot complex platform, configuration, and environment issues quickly and effectively.
  • We require a strong understanding of enterprise SaaS delivery, configuration governance, and change management.
  • We require practical experience using JIRA for backlog management, sprint tracking, defect management, and workflow progression.
  • We require experience supporting UAT, defect triage, and resolution activities during testing cycles.
  • We require the ability to work closely with Architecture, Product, Integration, Customer Success, and Engineering teams.
  • We require the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical configuration solutions.
  • We require experience supporting integrations, APIs, and enterprise data flows, which would be advantageous.
  • We require exposure to SQL queries, data analysis, and troubleshooting activities, which would be desirable.
  • We require a strong understanding of RBAC, security models, and data handling controls within regulated environments, which would be advantageous.
  • We require insurance sector experience, particularly within TPRM, Supplier Risk, Compliance, or Governance domains, which would be desirable.
  • We require strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
  • We require the ability to work independently while remaining aligned to programme governance, sprint objectives, and delivery timelines.
  • We require experience producing or contributing to documentation, runbooks, user guides, and support material, which would be beneficial.
  • We require a quick-thinking, delivery-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
  • We require candidates to be able to undergo background checks prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

  • We will deploy and integrate our vendor management platform for a FTSE100 client.
  • We will rely on you to support practical, delivery-focused SaaS engineering work.
  • We will expect you to configure and support the platform across multiple enterprise environments.
  • We will ask you to manage custom fields, workflows, forms, business rules, and other platform configuration items.
  • We will expect you to handle deployment and release management activities, including configuration migration and environment promotion.
  • We will rely on you to support CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines.
  • We will expect you to troubleshoot platform, configuration, and environment issues efficiently.
  • We will ask you to support Agile delivery teams and contribute to sprint-based delivery.
  • We will expect you to use JIRA for backlog, sprint, defect, and workflow management.
  • We will rely on you to support UAT, defect triage, and resolution during testing cycles.
  • We will expect you to collaborate with Architecture, Product, Integration, Customer Success, and Engineering teams.
  • We will ask you to translate business requirements into scalable technical configuration solutions.
  • We will value your support with integrations, APIs, enterprise data flows, SQL analysis, and troubleshooting where applicable.
  • We will expect you to contribute to documentation, runbooks, user guides, and support material.
  • We will expect you to work independently while staying aligned to governance, sprint objectives, and delivery timelines.
  • We will ask you to engage with technical and business stakeholders in a client-facing capacity.

We are seeking two experienced SaaS engineers for a practical, delivery-focused assignment that can be completed remotely, with occasional site visits to the South Coast as needed and travel expenses provided where necessary. This role is inside IR35, and candidates may be required to undergo background checks before starting.
