TechOps Specialist

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a deeply knowledgeable tech generalist who understands how systems work together to keep a business running smoothly.
• We need someone who is Google Workspace-native and confident using integrations, automation, and AI to remove friction.
• You should be organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning projects from start to finish.
• You must be able to communicate complex technical information clearly and simply.
• Experience managing SaaS tools, user access, permissions, and hardware lifecycle would be highly valuable.
• You should be comfortable leading an MSP relationship and supporting colleagues with clear documentation and training.

Responsibilities

• We own the TechOps roadmap with our Technology Director, defining internal tech strategy so our SaaS stack and hardware support business growth.
• We manage and improve our tech stack, making sure our core SaaS tools are fully maximised and keeping us ahead of the curve.
• We oversee access and permissions across all systems, ensuring colleagues have the right access from day one and that permissions remain secure and frictionless.
• We proactively automate and engineer better ways of working, using automation and AI to remove manual tasks and solve operational problems.
• We lead our MSP relationship, acting as the main contact for our IT service provider and ensuring high-quality support for our physical networks and hardware.
• We support and educate the team by creating clear documentation and training colleagues to use tools effectively and safely.
• We manage the hardware lifecycle for our Windows laptop fleet, keeping devices healthy, secure, and fit for purpose.
