Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with Azure and M365

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a Microsoft Cloud specialist with advanced expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and virtualised environments.
• We require strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure and SharePoint Online.
• We are looking for someone with proven ability to manage complex escalations from a 2nd line support team.
• We need experience with disaster recovery solutions, WAN/LAN networking, firewalls, and remote access VPNs.
• We require someone who can lead technical projects and work to high industry standards.
• We value experience mentoring or leading technical team members.
• We are looking for a self-motivated professional with a passion for cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Experience with PowerApps and PowerBI would be highly beneficial.
• Experience with Windows Server 2025 would be advantageous.
• An understanding of managed services environments and business client delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• We act as the technical authority for Microsoft Cloud technologies.
• We design, implement, and support Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint Online environments.
• We manage complex escalations from our 2nd line team.
• We oversee disaster recovery solutions and ensure resilient infrastructure.
• We manage network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, and firewalls.
• We implement and support remote access VPN solutions.
• We scope, quote, and deliver cloud-related projects in partnership with our Head of Operations.
• We lead the implementation of new technologies, including Windows Server 2025 and advanced Azure PowerApps and PowerBI projects.
• We mentor and support a Cyber Security Analyst and a Project Engineer.
• We help ensure projects and services are delivered to the highest standards and within SLA requirements.
