Requirements
- Strong experience delivering complex, multi-site IT infrastructure projects across network, cloud, identity, endpoint, and security areas.
- Ability to read, understand, challenge, and validate technical designs across network and firewall technologies, Azure/M365/Entra ID, and Intune, Defender, and Sentinel.
- Strong project delivery skillset with a waterfall/agile hybrid approach, plus structured documentation and governance discipline.
- Excellent problem-solving ability with the capability to break down complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to produce high-quality delivery artefacts including plans, architectures, test evidence, runbooks, and change packs.
- Project management certification such as Prince2, AgilePM, or PMP.
- Full working rights in the UK.
- Ability to travel occasionally to our client sites and offices as required.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check if offered.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of infrastructure programmes.
- Deliver network upgrades across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalling, and segmentation.
- Support cloud and M365 platform uplift, including Intune baselines, Defender configuration, and Azure services.
- Drive DR and resilience improvements, including backup strategy, failover design, and recovery testing.
- Manage project and programme delivery activities.
- Build and maintain detailed delivery plans, RAID logs, dependency maps, change schedules, and cutover plans.
- Run delivery governance, quality gates, readiness checks, risk assessments, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure all changes follow proper impact assessment, testing, documentation, and change control processes.
- Work closely with our Information Security Manager to plan and deliver vulnerability remediation.
- Ensure handovers meet strict acceptance criteria before transition into BAU.

We are a client-facing organisation with around 500 staff across 15 physical locations and remote teams. The role is fully remote from home anywhere in the country, with occasional travel to client offices and sites when required and travel expenses covered. We are looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Manager to lead infrastructure change programmes spanning networking, cloud, identity, endpoint management, security tooling, resilience and disaster recovery, centre fit-outs, and multi-site technology rollouts. Sponsorship is not available, and applicants must have full UK working rights and be prepared for an enhanced DBS check if offered.
