IT Engineer - Desktop

Salary: £29,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• Up-to-date experience with Microsoft operating systems and desktop applications
• Strong skills in the Microsoft 365 environment
• Experience in scripting and remote support (preferred)
• Excellent customer service experience
• Strong technical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience supporting and deploying laptops, iPads, and Chromebooks
• Minimum qualification at HNC level in an IT discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, especially within a large Microsoft domain

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware and software support including first and second-line operational support
• Ensure timely and efficient resolution of service requests, issues, and incidents
• Travel to ICT supported sites across Argyll and Bute as needed
