US Data Security Protection Expert (R&D)

Salary: £38,000 - 42,000 per year

Requirements

• Pharma and data protection experience
• Knowledge of data regulations, privacy, GDPR or similar with scientific and/or clinical acumen
• At least 4 years proven experience implementing healthcare data regulations
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex legal and regulatory frameworks to business operations
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into practical implementation strategies

Responsibilities

• Implement new US Data Security Rule across R&D
• Support R&D users in their understanding of the Rule
• Provide consultation to ensure R&Ds approach to the regulation is appropriate
• Collaborate to establish guidance, communication material and AI tooling to support users
• Provide hands-on day-to-day support for scientists and clinical teams in R&D
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, following up on required actions to solve challenges
• Demonstrate initiative in identifying and solving problems, determining which require senior legal input
