Salary: £38,000 - 68,000 per year

Requirements

• We require active Security Clearance (SC), and applicants must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years to meet eligibility criteria.
• We are looking for proven experience as a Cyber Transformation Lead or Senior Cyber Consultant in large-scale, highly regulated enterprise environments.
• We need deep experience in cybersecurity governance, policy development, and compliance frameworks, including GDPR.
• We require strong portfolio oversight capability, including experience managing RAG reporting and driving strategic alignment across complex projects.
• We need exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to brief, advise, and influence senior executive leadership.
• We are seeking a strategic specialist with the ability to work across cyber policy, standards, security culture, and long-term cyber improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• We will ask you to act as an internal cyber advisor aligned with our organisational strategy, leading the resolution of complex, high-profile cyber issues.
• We will rely on you to develop, refresh, and embed enterprise cyber policies, standards, and procedures, while tracking adoption and compliance.
• We will expect you to provide portfolio oversight and RAG reporting, and to escalate and remediate strategic misalignments proactively.
• We will need you to partner with HR and Learning & Development to establish cyber profession standards, skills matrices, and workforce pathways.
• We will ask you to support enterprise assurance activities and contribute directly to senior-level incident readiness and simulation.
• We will expect you to help accelerate our strategic cybersecurity transformation programme and drive long-term cyber improvements.

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Transformation Lead to join us on a 12-month contract, working outside IR35 at a rate of £600 per day. Our team is based in the Manchester area, with a requirement to be in the office two days per week. This role is central to accelerating our strategic cybersecurity transformation programme, strengthening our cyber policies, standards, security culture, and enterprise assurance activities. We operate in a highly regulated environment and are looking for someone who can influence senior stakeholders, improve strategic alignment, and help drive meaningful long-term cyber change.
