IT Support Engineer

Salary: £27,000 - 32,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for at least 2 years experience in an IT Support role
• We need strong troubleshooting skills and a logical approach
• We value a genuine passion for IT and delivering great service
• We require a confident communicator with excellent customer skills
• We are looking for someone who is a team player and can also work independently
• We need technical experience with Windows Server, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• We need experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
• We need experience with Azure and Entra
• We need experience supporting Windows and Mac OS
• We need experience with virtualisation
• We need experience with VoIP systems
• We consider MSP experience and relevant certifications a bonus, not a requirement
• We require candidates to live within a commutable distance of Seaford
• A clear DBS check will be required before starting

Responsibilities

• We provide IT support via phone, remote tools, and on-site visits
• We own and resolve helpdesk tickets in line with SLAs
• We build strong client relationships through clear, professional communication
• We set up users across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra
• We deploy and configure hardware, including imaging and Intune
• We support and configure VoIP systems, with training provided
• We maintain accurate documentation of systems, changes, and tickets
• We monitor backups, updates, and system health checks
• We diagnose, repair, and upgrade devices in-house
• We support and lead IT projects when required
• We work closely with the Operations Manager and the wider team
• We travel regularly to client sites as part of the role

We are a small but fast-moving Managed Service Provider in East Sussex, based in Seaford, and we are looking for an IT Support Engineer who wants a varied, hands-on role where their work makes a real impact. This is an office-based, full-time, permanent position with regular travel to client sites, and company vehicles are available.
