Oracle Fusion Developer (Payroll and HCM)

Salary: £38,000 - 68,000 per year

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance is mandatory.
• Proven technical experience with Oracle Cloud/Fusion applications, specifically Payroll and Fast Formula.
• Strong proficiency in HCM Extracts, HDL, HSDL, SQL/PLSQL, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Hands-on experience with OTBI/BI reporting tools.
• Experience working within corporate services, shared services, or broader public sector environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain Oracle Cloud/Fusion Payroll applications.
• Write and optimize complex Fast Formulas and manage system elements.
• Use HCM Data Loader (HDL), Spreadsheet Loader (HSDL), and OIC for system integrations.
• Build data models and extract insights using OTBI/BI reporting and SQL/PLSQL.
• Investigate, problem-solve, and resolve complex payroll system issues in a fast-paced shared services environment.

We are seeking two experienced Oracle Technical Specialists to join a major central government organization on a critical, long-term contract. This is a hybrid role based in Bristol, with three days per week onsite, running until 31st March 2027. The position offers the opportunity to work within a modern DevOps environment on high-priority payroll changes, including major pay award implementations and system integrations. The contract is outside IR35 and offers a day rate of £600.00 to £610.00.
