Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements
- We require a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer or NetDevOps professional with strong enterprise networking expertise.
- We require experience in complex OSPF and BGP environments.
- We require strong knowledge of secure, resilient traffic flows and typical enterprise and cloud network patterns.
- We require extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
- We require experience designing and implementing firewall policy across data centre and cloud environments.
- We require knowledge of Zero Trust and secure network design principles.
- We require experience with data centre and network architecture, including VXLAN, EVPN, VRF segmentation, and multi-site fabrics.
- We require experience with vendors such as Arista or equivalent networking platforms.
- We require experience with load balancing technologies such as F5 BIG-IP, including LTM, APM, and ASM.
- We require experience with hybrid cloud networking across Azure, AWS, and OCI.
- We require network automation experience using Python, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code.
- We require the ability to contribute quickly with minimal ramp-up and to work independently in a delivery-focused environment.
- We require SC clearance.
- We require the ability to work 60% office-based and 40% remotely from one of our listed locations.
- We require a professional who can support a role running until March 2027.
Responsibilities
- We design, implement, and enhance enterprise network infrastructure across data centre, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- We engineer and implement network traffic flows to support business-critical services.
- We build and maintain secure hybrid connectivity across Azure, AWS, and OCI.
- We implement and manage Palo Alto firewall policies across on-premises and cloud environments in line with Zero Trust principles.
- We design and operate high-availability network services, including routing, segmentation, and resilience.
- We develop and maintain network automation using Python, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code.
- We collaborate closely with architecture, cloud, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions.
- We ensure our solutions align with engineering standards and strategic direction.
- We contribute immediately to delivery work and operate with minimal supervision.
- We document designs and changes clearly and consistently to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- We balance immediate delivery needs with longer-term platform improvement.
