Senior IT Systems Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• We require strong experience in Windows Server 2025/2022 administration.
• We require hands-on Office 365 administration, including Entra ID, Autopilot, Intune, Conditional Access, MFA, and automation.
• We require Microsoft Exchange administration experience, both on-premises and online.
• We require solid VMware knowledge across VM and hypervisor operations, as well as VMware Horizon remote access.
• We require experience with Group Policy and Active Directory in a hybrid environment.
• We require good networking protocol knowledge, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
• We require experience with storage and backup solutions such as Veeam or Commvault.
• We require a good understanding of ITIL practices.
• We would value additional Linux exposure.
• We would value experience with Commvault or similar enterprise Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• We provide third-line support to our global IT Service Delivery team.
• We support a range of modern Microsoft technologies, as well as other industry-specific solutions.
• We work closely within a close-knit IT Infrastructure team.
• We manage and maintain infrastructure across Windows Server, Office 365, Exchange, VMware, and related technologies.
• We support hybrid identity and endpoint management environments.
• We contribute to automation and operational improvements across our IT platforms.

This is a senior IT Systems Engineer role based in Hemel Hempstead, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days per week in the office and a flexible approach to working.
