Remote Cyber Security Analyst

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• We have experience operating within a security environment.
• We have strong experience with Microsoft Sentinel.
• We have proven experience leading or challenging initiatives and we are proactive.

Responsibilities

• We support the team to monitor, triage, and investigate alerts and incidents within the SIEM tool.
• We support the SOC team in initial incident triage, determining scope, urgency, and appropriate actions to mitigate threats.
• We participate in the incident response process.
• We support the management of BAU requests via the ITSM tool.
• We support BAU activities such as daily checks.
• We assist with the analysis and trending of security log data.
• We support the triage of vulnerabilities, response, and mitigation with teams across IT.
• We support remediation action meetings across technical teams, including evaluating and translating vulnerability scan and pentest results.
• We support threat hunting activities.

We are recruiting for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our well-established and highly experienced team. This is a new additional position offering an exciting opportunity to work with the latest tools and progress into security engineering. The role is remote, with occasional ad hoc travel around the UK for team meet-ups, and an office is available for those who prefer to work on-site more frequently. The salary is up to £55,000, with an excellent benefits package available on request.
