Lead QA Engineer

Salary: £54,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript, browser developer tools, and modern testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and performance testing tools
• Confidence working with Git-based workflows
• Experience leading or mentoring QA engineers
• A proactive approach to improving processes and preventing defects
• Bonus: Experience with SQL and AWS (e.g. CloudWatch)
• Bonus: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and Atlassian tools
• Bonus: Exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define test cases
• Ensure clarity in bug reporting and embed strong QA practices across the business
• Play a key role in release management and collaborate with engineering leadership
• Lead on automated testing initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA metrics and processes
• Support the team in delivering robust, scalable solutions
