Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements

• Solid commercial experience at a principal or lead level, owning, building, and running production systems
• Strong engineering fundamentals and good judgement
• Experience with cloud, APIs, and modern delivery practices
• A practical approach to AI in real engineering workflows
• Comfort working closely with product teams and challenging ideas constructively

Responsibilities

• Build and ship real systems end to end, from early idea to production
• Modernise existing platforms without defaulting to big rewrites
• Move services toward cloud-native ways of working where it makes sense
• Deliver fast PoCs to prove value, then scale what works
• Make smart, pragmatic engineering decisions that keep momentum high
• Use AI to accelerate delivery without compromising quality
