SAP EWM Consultant

Salary: £48,000 - 54,000 per year

Requirements

• Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations
• At least 3 years experience in SAP WM
• At least 3 years experience in SAP EWM
• Strong expertise in SAP BASIS and SAP HANA administration/support
• Proven experience within the Defence sector or Defence-related environments
• Specific experience in ammunition management
• Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring capability
• Strong analytical skills, including root cause and trend analysis
• Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and incident management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• SAP Certified Technology Associate (SAP HANA) - desirable
• ITIL Foundation Certification - desirable
• Must be immediately available for a full-time contract
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Poland
• Minimum 5 years continuous UK residency required
• No personal or familial background linked to Russia or Belarus

Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of escalations and incidents within SAP BASIS and HANA environments, ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards
• Oversee and contribute to SAP EWM delivery across full project lifecycles
• Validate and manage change implementation plans, ensuring compliance and minimising operational risk
• Conduct root cause analysis and trend analysis, presenting findings to business stakeholders
• Engage with customers regularly to identify operational issues and drive continuous improvement
• Support capacity planning activities across SAP systems to optimise performance
• Mentor team members, develop SOPs, and maintain clear technical documentation
• Act as a key interface between technical teams and business stakeholders
