Requirements

• We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant with strong support and service excellence skills.
• We require proven experience in a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant role, ideally within a support or managed service environment.
• We require experience providing post-go-live support in a D365 environment.
• We require strong functional knowledge across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, Fixed Assets, Procurement & Sourcing, and Project Management & Accounting.
• We require experience supporting month-end and year-end processes, budgeting, and reporting.
• We require experience supporting the design and testing of small enhancements, workflows, and configuration changes.
• We require experience participating in Microsoft monthly update testing and regression testing.
• We require working knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
• We require experience using LCS, Azure DevOps, and Freshservice for ticket management, testing, and deployment tracking.
• We require experience managing functional testing cycles for system updates and hotfixes.
• We require familiarity with compliance and reporting obligations tied to funded research projects.
• We require the ability to bridge the gap between finance teams, research operations, and IT.
• We value Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310).
• We value familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, and Excel add-ins for reporting.
• We value experience with multi-currency configurations.
• We value knowledge of security roles, segregation of duties, and workflow approval hierarchies.
• We value exposure to D365 Supply Chain Management integration points.

Responsibilities

• We serve as the primary point of contact for finance- and procurement-related issues in D365 Finance & Operations.
• We provide day-to-day support to finance, procurement, and project teams using D365 effectively.
• We investigate, diagnose, and resolve functional incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• We work with technical, development, and infrastructure teams to manage escalations and deliver permanent fixes.
• We log, document, and track issues through Azure DevOps and Freshservice.
• We maintain our functional knowledge base and support documentation.
• We maintain accurate configuration and business process documentation.
• We participate in post-incident reviews and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• We support the design and testing of small enhancements, workflows, and configuration changes.
• We participate in Microsoft monthly update testing and regression testing.
• We manage functional testing cycles for system updates and hotfixes.
