Requirements

• We require experience testing Salesforce or equivalent enterprise platforms.
• We require at least 1 year of Salesforce experience.
• We require a solid understanding of functional testing, regression testing, test evidence, and traceability.
• We require confident use of JIRA for test and defect management.
• We require high attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
• We prefer awareness of automated testing concepts and CI/CD pipelines, without ownership.
• We prefer experience working within agile delivery models.
• We prefer awareness of audit and regulated change environments.
• We require the ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Leicester LE1 before starting work.

Responsibilities

• We execute manual functional, regression, and negative testing for assigned tickets and changes.
• We ensure all deployed changes have passed agreed testing unless risk is explicitly accepted.
• We verify that changes meet documented acceptance criteria before release.
• We create and maintain clear, repeatable test scripts aligned to JIRA tickets, acceptance criteria, and core business processes.
• We maintain traceability from requirement to test to result to support internal audit and release assurance.
• We maintain regression scenarios for critical Salesforce workflows.
• We produce audit-ready test evidence in line with our change governance expectations.
• We maintain accurate JIRA records, including test outcomes, defects raised, and risk commentary.
• We support QA reporting and assurance led by the QA Lead.
• We identify repeatable or high-risk manual tests suitable for automation.
• We provide clean, stable test cases for our Deployment & Automation Specialist and DevOps / Automation roles.
• We support regression test cycles executed via automation by reviewing results.
• We support both BAU and project delivery through appropriate levels of testing and evidence.
• We contribute to go/no-go decisions.
• We work collaboratively with Developers, Admins, and the Automation function without owning deployment activity.

The role sits under the direction of our Systems Quality Team Lead and contributes to a controlled, audit-ready, and scalable QA function for 2026 and beyond. This is a permanent, full-time role based in a hybrid remote setup in Leicester LE1, with a salary of £25,500 per year.
