Datacenter Operations Manager

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience in data center operations management
• Strong understanding of reliability, performance, and uptime methodologies
• Ability to supervise engineers and manage installations
• Excellent communication skills to serve as the main point of contact
• Knowledge of safety standards and operational procedures
• Experience in monitoring space utilization, power, cooling, and capacity
• Strong organizational skills for managing contractors and documentation

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day data center operations
• Ensure effective reliability, performance, and uptime
• Supervise engineers during installations and replacements
• Serve as the main point of contact for on-site issues
• Enforce safety standards and operational procedures
• Monitor data centers space utilization, power, cooling, and capacity
• Manage contractors on site
• Complete accurate documentation of activities and configurations
