Salary: £104,000 - 104,000 per year

Requirements

• Solid experience with Microservices, Distributed Systems, and Cloud-native design
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), resilience patterns, and observability (logging/tracing)
• Familiarity with Service Level Objectives (SLO) / Service Level Indicators (SLI) concepts and availability modeling
• Clear documentation skills and professional diagramming ability
• Capability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Eligible for SC Clearance
• Bonus: Knowledge of the energy sector or trading platforms

Responsibilities

• Support the architectural mapping and evaluation of a complex domain cluster
• Document current system topologies and establish data ownership boundaries
• Identify reliability improvements and cross-service access patterns
• Maintain the service catalogue and as-is topology diagrams
• Contribute to efficacy scoring via RAG ratings and assist in SLO gap analysis
• Record design rationale through Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
