Internal IT Manager

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Internal IT Manager, IT Lead, Systems Administrator or similar role
• Strong Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace administration experience
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments
• Good understanding of cyber security best practices and access management
• Experience supporting security audits, compliance programmes or certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2
• A proactive and self-sufficient approach
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users

Responsibilities

• Manage our internal IT systems and infrastructure
• Administer Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft 365
• Set up laptops, devices and accounts for new starters
• Manage user permissions, access controls and security settings
• Troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues across the business
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes
• Ensure internal systems remain secure and compliant
• Work alongside external consultants on certification projects such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2
• Provide technical information, documentation and evidence throughout the audit process
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, security and efficiency

This is a fully remote role based in the UK with a starting salary of £60k - £70k DOE. It is a hands-on position focused entirely on our internal systems and user support, with no production environment or software engineering responsibilities.
