Responsibilities/Qualifications Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manager, Project Management to lead a portfolio of complex, cross-functional projects that drive strategic business outcomes.

In this role, you will oversee project execution, portfolio prioritization, resource planning, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement while leading a team of project professionals.

Key Responsibilities Project & Portfolio Leadership Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects and programs across the organizationAlign project priorities with strategic business goals and organizational objectivesEstablish and maintain project management methodologies, governance practices, tools, and standardsManage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and performance metricsMonitor portfolio performance, proactively identifying and escalating risks, issues, and resource constraintsSupport portfolio prioritization and long-term capacity planning with senior leadershipFinancial & Operational Excellence Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial performanceOptimize resource allocation to maximize project outcomes and operational efficiencyEvaluate business processes and recommend improvements to productivity, quality, and service deliveryMonitor industry, technology, and operational trends that may impact project successTeam Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop project managers, coordinators, and project contributorsEstablish performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunitiesPromote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and adoption of project management best practicesPartner with Human Resources on recruitment, workforce planning, retention, and succession planningStakeholder Management Collaborate with leaders across operations, technology, product, engineering, sales, customer support, and other business functionsServe as a key point of contact for project priorities, timelines, and outcomesFacilitate cross-functional planning and communication to ensure successful project executionDevelop business cases, project proposals, recommendations, and executive presentationsRisk Management & Continuous Improvement Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and competing prioritiesSupport teams in resolving complex project challengesConduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learnedUtilize dashboards, reporting, and analytics to track project performance and communicate progressQualifications 6+ years of increasingly responsible experience in project management, program management, computer software, or electrical engineering required2+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience required2+ years of 9-1-1, emergency communications, or public safety experience preferredProven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong leadership, coaching, and team development skillsExcellent project planning, program management, budgeting, and forecasting capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and influence cross-functional teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and project management toolsExperience utilizing reporting, dashboard, and project portfolio management solutions preferredAbility to travel up to 25% as required by business needsEducation: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be consideredPMP (Project Management Professional) or other project management certification requiredTotal Rewards Want to love where you work?
