Requirements
- Experience as a Data Analyst within Central Government or Public Sector environments.
- Strong background in data analysis, particularly in DDaT/GDS environments.
- Good understanding of Python programming.
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance and government standards related to data collection, quality, and usage.
Responsibilities
- Audit the current use of data and develop a future data strategy in collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate existing data collection processes, focusing on quality and compliance with regulations.
- Map the current data collection and usage journey and apply statistical and analytical tools and techniques.
- Uphold fundamental principles of data ethics and privacy, communicating any associated risks through appropriate channels.
- Provide recommendations for improvements in data collection, quality, and usage, including how to enhance the capture of compliant first-party data.
