Business Analyst - Finance

Salary: £42,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Analyst with a track record of delivering insight-driven solutions that create tangible impact.
• We require a qualified accountant, or someone who can demonstrate comparable experience in a finance role.
• We require experience in a BA role, or an equivalent process improvement or systems implementation role, preferably in an agile environment.
• We need strong communication skills and the ability to clearly analyse and document findings accurately.
• We value a keen attention to detail, natural curiosity, and the confidence to question scenarios and navigate ambiguity.
• We are looking for someone with a good understanding of operational finance and general ledger accounting.
• Data analysis skills are desirable, though not essential.
• A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• We support analysis, system configuration, and delivery within our Finance Product team.
• We act as the main Finance expert within the Technology function, building expertise across our financial systems.
• We support wider company initiatives across multiple Product teams.
• We work closely with our development team and collaborate with colleagues from a variety of disciplines.
• We engage stakeholders, build consensus, and challenge where needed.
• We analyse business processes, uncover underlying needs, and shape clear, actionable outcomes.
• We improve processes, uncover insights through data, and help shape service direction.
• We contribute to continuous improvement and share best practices across the Analysis team.
