Requirements

• We are looking for a school leaver or recent graduate with related credentials or a degree in this field.
• We need someone with a passion for technology and a drive to provide technical solutions.
• We expect a good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technical products.
• You should have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• You must be able to diagnose and resolve hardware, firmware, and software issues.
• We are looking for someone with knowledge of computer systems configuration, setup, and maintenance.
• You should have a hands-on approach to PC hardware and basic system-building skills.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude would be an advantage.
• You should demonstrate analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and think independently.
• Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
• You must have the correct accreditations or degree level for this sector.

Responsibilities

• We provide technical support to clients, end users, and our organization for computer systems, hardware, and software.
• We monitor, respond to, and document service support requests and resolutions via telephone or email.
• We respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and implement solutions.
• We take ownership of customer issues and see them through to resolution.
• We research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions for mobile device and system issues.
• We follow standard procedures to escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• We provide step-by-step technical help in both written and verbal form.
• We manage equipment inventory, including booking out replacement parts and arranging collection and return of faulty goods.
• We coordinate with remote field operatives, client IT personnel, and contractor IT personnel as required.
• We complete the administrative aspects of the role while working to identify and eliminate errors.
• We install, configure, and maintain related hardware.
• We tear down, rebuild, repair, and refurbish hardware and goods for redeployment.
• We perform maintenance and updates to ensure optimal software and hardware performance.
