Requirements

• We are looking for strong experience in warehouse automation, logistics technology, and high-level software engineering.
• We require hands-on experience in intralogistics, automation, system integration, and new product development.
• We are seeking experience with conveyors, handling systems, AMRs/robotics, ASRS, or industrial automation.
• We require strong technical capability across software, networks, and automation systems.
• We require experience in designing, developing, and testing API interfaces between PC/server systems.
• We require SQL Server development, integration, and deployment experience.
• We require hardware understanding and specification capability.
• We require network configuration, deployment, and testing experience, including industrial networking where possible.
• We require experience configuring managed Ethernet switches and routers.
• We require server configuration experience for remote interfaces and access.
• We require advanced coding skills in C#, .NET/Blazor, and Python/Django.
• We require front-end application and dashboard development experience.
• We require experience with XML, web APIs, TCP/IP, and Ethernet interface development and testing.
• We require strong client-facing communication skills.
• We require the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• We require a professional, proactive approach in a fast-paced, project-driven automation environment.
• We require the ability to travel periodically to customer sites within the UK.
• We require commitment to health and safety procedures in workshop and on-site environments.

Responsibilities

• We will deliver project-level engineering tasks in line with agreed timelines and technical standards.
• We will support the development and innovation of our internal WCS platforms and features.
• We will lead and contribute to R&D, new product development, and system enhancements.
• We will produce high-quality technical documents, diagrams, and functional specifications.
• We will review drawings and documentation and oversee functional testing for new systems.
• We will develop Functional Design Specifications for higher-level control systems.
• We will ensure systems are fully tested, validated, and quality checked before deployment.
• We will build bespoke software aligned to client requirements and our system standards.
• We will participate in ongoing training to strengthen technical competencies.
• We will travel to customer sites within the UK for installation, testing, and commissioning.
• We will maintain professional communication with clients and internal teams.
• We will comply with all health and safety procedures for workshop and on-site environments.
