Requirements

• We require the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, product, and senior leadership.
• We require a pragmatic, adaptable mindset suited to a fast-evolving and less structured environment.
• We require the ability to balance technical depth with leadership responsibility.
• We require candidates who are comfortable staying close to the detail rather than operating only at a strategic level.

Responsibilities

• We lead and develop engineers through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
• We drive technical and architectural direction alongside senior stakeholders.
• We challenge decisions made by internal teams and third-party vendors.
• We improve operational excellence, including monitoring, incident management, and system reliability.
• We support both legacy transformation and new product development.
• We work across multiple agile engineering teams, typically 5 to 6 teams, in partnership with product, architecture, and external vendors.
• We reduce reliance on third-party vendors and build stronger internal engineering capability.
• We stay close to engineering detail while shaping delivery and improving systems technically and culturally.
