Network Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• We have proven experience as a Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
• We have a strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching and wireless networking.
• We have experience managing enterprise firewall solutions.
• We have experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• We have knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• We have experience implementing and supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• We have strong customer-facing communication skills.
• We hold a full UK driving licence, preferably.

Responsibilities

• We design, implement and maintain network infrastructure for internal and customer environments.
• We configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and wireless solutions.
• We manage Microsoft 365, Azure and Active Directory environments.
• We support server infrastructure, virtualisation platforms and cloud services.
• We monitor and improve network performance, resilience and security.
• We manage VPNs, remote access solutions and site-to-site connectivity.
• We assist with infrastructure migrations, upgrades and transformation projects.
• We produce and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
• We provide high-level technical support and escalation assistance when required.
• We work alongside vendors, telecommunications providers and technology partners.
