Visualfiles Developer - Remote

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• Development background with at least 3 years experience of designing, developing and delivering bespoke business applications
• Prior VisualFiles development experience and knowledge of Legal workflows
• Commercial awareness and inquisitiveness to understand the challenges faced by the firm and its clients
• Ability to quickly identify projects that may be at risk, communicating early to manage expectations
• Innovative mind-set, willingness to experiment and explore new ways of delivering technology solutions
• Develop applications with security in mind, protecting data at all times
• Desirable skills include C#, VB, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS
• Willingness to learn new methods and techniques

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing business solutions that interface with the line of business applications as well as customizing and configuring off-the-shelf software
• Develop the case management system to ensure continual optimization of business efficiency and procedures
• Support the integration of VisualFiles with other firm-wide packages including the practice management system
• Propose, design, and implement new and innovative systems and analyze existing systems for opportunities in streamlining and performance enhancement
• Assist with business process analysis to enhance and develop workflow processes when required
• Work closely with the Projects team to map out projects
• Build process improvement workflows across the application stack and assist others in integrating workflows into line of business applications
• Design data structures and access methods to support any custom development
