IT Support Engineer

Salary: £35,500 - 37,500 per year

Requirements

• Experience in a helpdesk, desktop support or IT support role
• 1st line and 2nd line IT support knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
• Understanding of routers, Cat5 networks, VPNs and printers
• Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms
• General user support and business application support
• Knowledge of ticketing systems and remote desktop tools
• Beneficial experience includes:

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for users by phone, email, chat and remote support
• Deliver 1st line and 2nd line IT support across desktops, users, networks, devices and office systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, providing clear updates throughout
• Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with internal colleagues and third-party providers
• Support users with day-to-day IT and business application queries
• Assist with database and CRM system configurations and support
• Help with hardware configuration, setup, sourcing and deployment
• Monitor alerts, incidents and support cases to ensure issues are followed through
• Provide a high standard of service, aftercare and practical support to end users
