Requirements

• Strong communication skills at all levels
• MS Office to intermediate level
• Documentation to entry level
• Previous experience in a similar role, IT field, or IT qualification
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• GCSE grades A-C
• Proactive with a desire to learn new skills
• Attention to detail
• UK driving licence required
• Networking knowledge (Unifi, Meraki, Cisco) desirable
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across all sites and contracts for support tickets, including server, desktop, networking infrastructure, and telephone systems
• Manage and maintain accurate documentation on all IT processes
• Maintain systems and resolve general workplace IT issues
• Assist the wider IT team to deliver IT projects, including testing new workflows
• Assist the wider IT team to monitor the network across all sites and work closely with our outsourced IT department on issues
• Assist in maintaining our printer outsourcing contract
• Coordinate data compliance with our outsourced IT department, including laptop encryption and remote wiping, to ensure our IT infrastructure is secure and GDPR compliant
• Monitor and update the IT issues database
• Follow health and safety duties, report unsafe conditions, and comply with company management systems and safe systems of work
