Software Developer (Ruby/Python)

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in Ruby on Rails (or strong backend experience with willingness to cross-train from Python)
• Solid commercial software engineering background
• Comfortable owning features end-to-end and working in production environments
• Interested in mentoring others and growing within a stable product team
• Looking for a long-term role rather than short-term contracts

Responsibilities

• Join a product-focused engineering team working on a live, customer-facing platform used by regulated organisations globally
• Engage in the full lifecycle of software development from feature design through to production releases
• Collaborate closely with a Dev Manager, Senior Engineers, and offshore developers
• Deliver quarterly releases and manage complex change requests
• Continuously improve a mission-critical system
