Software Development Lead, C# / C++, Nottingham

Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience leading software development teams in a senior technical capacity
• Strong background in software engineering, with hands-on experience in C# and/or C++
• Experience working within a heavily regulated industry such as finance, healthcare, payroll, utilities, defence, aerospace, or similar
• Experience contributing to or shaping technical strategy, engineering standards, and delivery processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Ambition to progress into more senior leadership roles over time

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary software engineering team
• Guide day-to-day technical delivery
• Help shape the development of a suite of complex software products and platforms
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure engineering output aligns with wider business objectives
• Remain close to the technology and delivery side of the function
