Requirements

• Strong experience with Power Platform Dataflows and Power Query
• Proven background designing and building cloud-based ETL pipelines
• Knowledge of Dataverse and Dynamics 365 CE data structures
• Experience training or coaching internal teams
• Understanding of data migration, UAT processes, and error handling best practice
• Familiarity with SSIS/KingswaySoft is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training to a team of four on Power Query and Power Platform Dataflows
• Guide the design of a scalable ETL framework for recurring flat file imports
• Support the team in building initial ingestion pipelines into Dataverse/D365
• Review and refine transformation logic, mapping, and pipeline structure
• Provide expert oversight during UAT, including error handling configuration
• Optionally build specific pipelines or mapping logic if internal capacity requires

We are a remote team, with the UK preferred, looking for a contract Microsoft Power Platform Consultant for an Aug-Dec 2026 engagement. We are supporting our internal Data Team in building cloud-based ETL pipelines using Power Platform Dataflows and Power Query, underpinning our migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM ahead of a planned early 2027 production go-live. Our work includes recurring Excel/CSV imports from third-party providers, six core D365 data patterns, and a two-tier pipeline model covering preprocessing into a unified schema and loading into D365 with robust de-duplication and matching logic.
