Senior AWS Network Engineer (VPC Lattice- 100% Remote/Long Term Contract)

Senior AWS Network Specialist - VPC Lattice (100% Remote/Contract) Optomi, in partnership with a major customer is seeking a senior level AWS Networking SME. This role will utilize new technology such as VPC Lattice, CloudWAN, SkyPath, and Kakfa.

This engineer will help lead a migration of onprem applications to AWS and establishing the networking foundation that makes it work.

Responsibilities: Building repeatable, automated network connectivity patterns for workload consumptionBuild reusable blocks with CDK in AWSUtlize VPC Lattice for endpoint mapping, reaching on prem brokers, and firewall rulesSetting up policies and guardrails around automated network functionsWorking cross functionally with various team and stakeholders Apply today if you're background includes: Deep, modern AWS networking experience- Transit gateway, Route53, DNS, etc.Advanced services and features like VPC Lattice, Resource Configurations, Resource Gateways, AWS Cloud WAN, Direct Connect, Private Link, DX Gateway, etc.Network observability experience- Generate and collect cloud network metrics (latency, round-trip time etc.) for traffic flowing between on-premises data centers and AWSExperience with enterprise level migration efforts to AWS with modern architectureAbility to work a remote contract with occasional travel
