Data Architect

Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience with enterprise data architecture
• Experience with data modelling and governance
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or similar database technologies
• Experience with data integration tools
• Experience with modern data warehouse and analytics solutions
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric would be very useful, but it is not essential

Responsibilities

• Help shape the data roadmap and long-term architectural vision
• Bring structure to complex data challenges
• Own the new Data Platform
• Connect our Technology, Data, and Transformation teams to keep everyone aligned
• Map enterprise data flows and define governance standards
• Work with engineering teams on cloud data platforms
• Represent the data function at architecture boards
• Help senior stakeholders understand how better information architecture supports better decisions
• Improve standards and introduce best practice
• Mentor others and influence the direction of our data function

We are investing heavily in our data capability and are looking for a Data Product Owner who can help turn data into a genuine business asset. This is a highly influential role with real ownership, shaping how data is managed across the organisation for years to come. The role is predominantly remote, with visits to our central London office twice a month to work with the teams. We offer a collaborative environment where architecture is actively used to drive change, not left sitting in a document.
