Cloud Security Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• We need strong hands-on Azure security experience.
• We need practical experience with PIM and PAM.
• We need a solid understanding of cloud security principles such as least privilege, defence in depth and secure-by-design.
• We need someone who is comfortable troubleshooting complex access, policy and configuration issues.
• We need eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
• Consultancy experience is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Sentinel, Defender XDR, Azure DevOps, GitHub, CNI or regulated environments would be valuable.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-500, AZ-104, SC-300, SC-400 or SC-100 are welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• We secure Azure environments across identity, governance, networking, workload protection and monitoring.
• We work with technologies including Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• We turn high-level designs into detailed technical solutions, build documentation, test plans and operational runbooks.
• We own pieces of technical delivery and solve complex security problems.
• We work directly with clients across major projects.
• We collaborate closely with experienced security architects within our Architecture team.

You will join our Architecture team in a hands-on Azure security role with exposure to experienced architects and a genuine route into Cloud or Security Architecture. Our hybrid working model is flexible, with at least one office visit per month and candidates further afield still considered. The interview process is simple and can be completed remotely.
