Platform Engineer I will focus on enhancing developer experience by designing tools and workflows that improve productivity and streamline software delivery across the organization.

Responsibilities Define and maintain golden paths for service creation, including service templates, starter kits, and scaffolding tools that let teams go from zero to production-ready with minimal frictionOwn developer onboarding workflows and maintain high-quality platform documentationEstablish and evolve CI/CD pipeline standards across the organizationDesign release automation patterns, including rollout safety mechanisms such as canary deployments, progressive delivery, and automated rollbacksBuild and maintain internal platform portals, reusable infrastructure modules, and paved-road workflowsEnable product engineering teams to provision resources, configure environments, and ship features independently without reliance on other teamsChampion platform adoption through clear documentation, enablement sessions, and a consultative approachMeasure developer satisfaction and platform adoption metrics to continuously improve the experiencePartner with product engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure platform tooling meets cross-platform needsTranslate engineering pain points into scalable platform capabilitiesEmbed security and compliance requirements such as SOC2 and PCI-DSS into platform tooling and CI/CD pipelines Skills 8+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or developer tooling roles with a strong focus on developer experienceDeep experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, including release automation and deployment safety patternsStrong expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration in the context of self-service abstractionsProficiency in Python, Go, or Bash with experience building internal tools and automationHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and HelmExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including designing developer-facing abstractionsStrong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills with a focus on internal developer experienceExperience building or contributing to internal developer portals such as BackstageFamiliarity with platform engineering frameworks and a platform-as-a-product mindsetTrading or financial services industry experienceContributions to open-source projects Benefits 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions.Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.Generous PTO7 Paid Holidays Annually + 5 Conditional Holidays Annually1 Service Day Annually401k with 3.5% Company MatchPaid Parental Bonding LeaveHealth, Vision, Dental CoverageLife and Disability Insurance Covered 100% by NinjaTrader Company Overview NinjaTrader provides trading software and brokerage services for futures, forex, and equities markets.
