Contract Lead Azure Platform Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• Extensive experience architecting enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven expertise designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience integrating Azure with on-premise infrastructure and legacy systems.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and its associated Azure services.
• Experience delivering greenfield cloud platforms from discovery through to implementation.
• Ability to develop cloud platforms iteratively, balancing immediate business needs with long-term scalability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Azure landing zones for a greenfield environment.
• Lead the discovery, design, and iterative development of the Azure platform.
• Build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures aligned with enterprise best practice.
• Integrate Azure services with existing on-premise legacy estates.
• Work closely with the Solution Director and wider stakeholders to define the platform roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the engagement.
• Support the adoption of Microsoft Fabric and associated Azure services where appropriate.
