PHP Developer

Salary: £40,000 - 48,000 per year

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional PHP development experience
• Strong experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
• Solid understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and REST APIs
• Practical exposure to Laravel or Symfony
• Good understanding of MVC architecture
• Experience working with MySQL or an equivalent database
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control tools
• Experience with headless or decoupled WordPress is desirable
• Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue is desirable
• Experience integrating payment gateways, CRMs, or third-party systems is desirable
• Familiarity with Docker or containerised development is desirable
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments is desirable
• Ability to contribute to technical documentation and client-facing materials is desirable

Responsibilities

• Work on our existing client systems built in WordPress
• Develop and support our new software platform built in PHP and Laravel

• Contribute to the development of our brand new software product
