AI Software Engineer, Firebase, GCP - Ardwick

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• We need deep Firebase expertise, including Firestore, Cloud Run, Auth, and Security Rules.
• We need experience building and deploying production systems, not just prototypes.
• We need demonstrable experience building and deploying complex AI applications using LLMs.
• We ideally want experience with agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with vector databases such as pgvector, ChromaDB, Pinecone, or similar is a plus.
• We are looking for someone who wants to grow into a CTO role as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• We build an AI-powered workflow and intelligence platform using agentic AI, multimodal analysis, and domain-specific insight.
• We design and own the end-to-end architecture, security, performance, and integrations on Firebase and GCP.
• We turn well-defined product specs and prototypes into production-quality code.
• We work closely with our Head of Product to deliver core product functionality.
• We help build the engineering function as the company grows, including hiring, structuring, and mentoring.
• We lead the technical direction of the product with a clear path toward CTO responsibilities.
