Audio Visual Engineering Manager

Salary: £31,000 - 71,000 per year

Responsibilities

• We will have you support and manage end users and installed meeting room technologies across our EMEA office estate.
• We will rely on you to troubleshoot and remediate AV faults using established diagnostic techniques.
• You will facilitate hardware repairs or replacement directly or with the wider team as needed.
• You will maximise uptime of our audio-visual unified communication systems.
• You will respond promptly to reports of AV hardware or software failures within agreed KPIs.
• You will report faults, raise tickets, manage ticket queues, and close engineering tickets within agreed KPIs.
• You will liaise with in-house teams and wider departments to secure critical spares and loan replacements.
• You will manage and track critical spares onsite.
• You will build positive relationships and coordinate onsite with clients, facility owners, contractors, and associated trades.
• You will ratify AV system documentation to align with current industry standards and best practices.
• You will support and drive preventative maintenance activities.
• You will report break-fix activity and key management updates to our HQ and client team.
• You will provide fault reporting to relevant teams as required.
• You will provide remote technical support to other offices as needed.
• You will manage, develop, and mentor our engineering team.
• You will ensure the engineering team works efficiently and effectively, assigning tasks and checking work quality.
• You will lead by example.
• You will work with project teams to facilitate AV installations within our EMEA estate.
• You will administer access controls for temporary or installation staff linked to engineering works.
