Senior Python Software Engineer

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong Python experience, particularly with asynchronous or distributed systems
• Solid experience building APIs and backend services
• Good understanding of cloud environments (Azure preferred), CI/CD, and deployment
• Experience building and shipping systems used in real-world environments (ideally client-facing or delivery-led)
• Someone who enjoys the craft of engineering, not just shipping code, but building things properly
• A genuine interest in AI and how its shaping modern software development

Responsibilities

• Own the development of production-grade systems in a collaborative environment
• Design APIs and back-end services to meet project requirements
• Think through asynchronous processing and scale solutions
• Shape deployment, monitoring, and improvement of systems in production
• Work on real client environments and tackle complex technical challenges
• Be curious and proactive in figuring out solutions to problems as they arise
